Organizational Development

Our approach to organizational development is a partnership involving active work with our clients. Instead of adhering strictly to one approach, the organization’s uniqueness, talents and individuality are taken into consideration. Using a holistic approach—the plan that best captures the organizations’ needs is the most effective.

An organization does not consist of just the employee at work, but must take into consideration the employee in both a personal and professional setting. JASTECO is committed to developing the organization with that “holistic approach.”

Organizational development encompasses the following areas:

  • Building healthy relationships between employees as well as those outside of work. When strong relationships exist, the employee is more efficient and valuable to the organization. They are ready to perform the mission at the highest level.

  • Competition in sports has existed forever. The same mindset that exists in sports can be transformed to the organization. Similar values (e.g. determination, goal setting, attitude) can be used to enhance an employee’s value to the organization.

  • Searching for a new career or just changing jobs can be a daunting experience, especially in a time of uncertainty. However, developing and maintaining a positive outlook even during the worst of times can be very rewarding. We work with our clients to develop that mindset.

  • Change management is a staple in the development of any organization. As such, organizations have to look towards the future in order to stay viable. We help the organization understand the importance of that concept.

  • Maintaining an employee's work/life balance is probably the most important area. Child care, single-person families, dual- income families, etc. are very important issues in today’s society. We help the employee discover the importance and the reality of maintaining that balance in order to be effective both on and off the job.
